Highland History, Honest Comfort
Ghillie Dhu and Glastig are Aos Sí's stone cottages at Tigh Phuirt, Glencoe / Ballachulish — a restored c.1800 croft split into two independent homes. The rooms are small, the ceilings are low, and the photos are honest. Guests who want a modern lodge should look at the octagonal cabins instead.
Both cottages are fully self-catering: kitchen, living space, bedrooms, bathrooms, WiFi, wood-burning stove, and double glazing so the main road stays outside. Easy access from the A82, with shops and a bus stop nearby, and sea / Loch Leven views from the cottage.
