Ghillie Dhu and Glastig are Aos Sí's most characterful accommodations — two stone cottages with deep roots in the Highland landscape. The thick stone walls, low ceilings, and original features speak of a building that has weathered centuries of Scottish weather while remaining a warm and welcoming home.
Both cottages have been carefully restored and are fully self-catering: private kitchen, living area, bedroom, and bathroom — everything you need for an independent stay in the Highlands.
The name Ghillie Dhu comes from Scottish Gaelic mythology — a wild spirit of the forest who protects young trees and wayward travellers. Glastig is a shape-shifting Highland water spirit. Both names reflect the ancient, liminal quality of this corner of Glencoe.
