Terms & Conditions

1. Reservation and Payment

1.1 To secure a reservation, a valid credit card must be provided.

1.2 Payment is required at the time of booking, and the reservation will be confirmed upon receipt of payment.

1.3 We utilise secure Stripe payment processing to ensure the confidentiality and safety of your payment information. Stripe is a trusted and widely-used payment gateway that complies with industry standards for secure online transactions.

1.4 All payment details are handled in compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), ensuring the privacy and protection of your personal information.

1.5 Prices are subject to change without notice, but once a reservation is confirmed, the rate is locked in.

2. Booking Over the Phone

2.1 Reservations made over the phone are subject to the same terms and conditions as online bookings.

2.2 To secure a reservation via phone, our staff will require necessary details, including but not limited to the guest’s name, contact information, and valid credit card details.

2.3 Payment for phone bookings will be processed securely through our payment gateway, ensuring confidentiality and adherence to GDPR regulations.

2.4 A confirmation email with booking details will be sent to the provided email address after the payment is successfully processed.

2.5 Any changes or cancellations to phone bookings must be communicated promptly to our staff. Please refer to the cancellation policy for applicable charges.

2.6 By booking over the phone, guests acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agreed to these terms and conditions.

3. Check-In and Check-Out

3.1 Regular check-in time is between 3.00 and 7.00 PM. During the high Seasons and depending on work pressure on our side, checking time can be pushed to 4.00pm but our staff is always dedicated to make your arrival as smooth as possible. A waiting area in the house will be provided for any waiting time.

3.2 Regular check-out time is before 11 AM.

3.3 Early check-ins and late check-outs are subject to availability and may incur additional charges.

4. Guest Responsibilities

4.1 Guests are responsible for any damage caused to the property during their stay.

4.2 Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the lodges.

4.3 Pets are allowed subject to an additional fee of £20 per pet per night payable cash or card uppon arrival if you have booked through a third party, or directly via the options of our website.

5. Liability

5.1 AOS SI, shall not be held responsible for any loss, theft, or damage to guests’ personal property.

5.2 Guests are advised to secure their valuables.

6. Force Majeure

6.1 AOS SI Lodges will not be liable for any failure or delay in performing services due to circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to natural disasters, acts of terrorism, or government restrictions.

7. Privacy Policy

7.1 Guest information will be handled in accordance with our privacy policy.

8. Governing Law

8.1 These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of Scotland, and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Fort William.

By making a reservation at AOS SI Lodges, guests acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agreed to these terms and conditions.

9. Cancellation Policy

Direct Booking through Our Website:

Always the best policy : if you find a better policy on an third party, we will always match

9.1 Cancellations made 14 days prior to the arrival date will receive a full refund.

9.2 Cancellations made within 7 days of the arrival date will result in a 50% charge of the total reservation cost.

9.3 Cancellations made within 5 days of the arrival date will result in a 100% charge of the total reservation cost.

Airbnb Bookings:

Booking.com Bookings:

9.4 Refer to our Booking.com page for cancellation policies.

9.5 No-shows and early departures are subject to the full reservation cost.

COVID-19 Related Cancellations:

  • If your cancellation is due to government-mandated travel restrictions related to COVID-19, we will offer a full refund or the option to reschedule your stay to a later date, subject to availability.

Processing Refunds:

  • Refunds will be processed to the original payment method within 7 to 14 business days of the cancellation confirmation.

To Cancel or Modify Your Booking:

  • Please contact us directly via phone, email, or WhatsApp to cancel or modify your booking. We will confirm your cancellation or changes in writing.

We recommend that all guests consider travel insurance to cover any unforeseen circumstances that may disrupt travel plans.
